New Logo for Mozilla

Mozilla are planning a brand update of their logo and are doing this in an open source environment.

They have engaged a design agency to work on 7 options which have been presented to the online community to comment and give feedback.

This has been seen as an attempt to quell any backlash to a new logo design such as the launch of the new GAP logo which was widely criticised.

Designers and corporations will be watching carefully to see how this  process pans out. Whether it is successful or if too many opinions and designing by committee is a problem fraught arena.

You can go to Mozilla and see all of the options being proposed here
